- Every student can borrow 2 books on his/her card for 8 days.
- Books can be issued for longer during the vacation.
- Every Teacher can borrow 8 books for 30 days.
- If not returned on time, one has to pay fine @ 5 RS. per day per book.

ABOUT LIBRARY :-
Vast collection of Course Curriculum Books, Journals, Encyclopaedia, dictionaries, magazines and newspapers in both Hindi and English are available in the library. Comfortable reading and writing tables for students use are provided.
D.B.M.S. COLLEGE OF EDUCATION Library is small in size but maintains a high standard. The library has 5000+ books on Education which are used extensively by the students and teachers. The library is fully automated including circulation process with the help of software. The total number of books in the library is near about 5000. It, however, includes varieties of excellent books. The library contains text books on ‘Education’ as well as on other subjects, reference books and general books.
The library subscribes to varieties of Journals on Education (mainly), Science and Arts subjects. The collection also includes back volumes of Journals, Magazines, Career guidance books and News bulletins about employment.
Apart from the borrowing facility, the library has reading room facilities also. The students are totally dependent upon the library for their requirement related to B. Ed course. The collection is continuously reviewed and added with new books to support their needs. Internet is also accessible to the students in the library. A good number of e-journals of different publications as well as a large number of variety of e-resources (e-journals, e-books, databases, etc) through the DELNET-Digital Library.
- To acquire ,organize and update the library collection to support teaching –learning process.
- To encourage students to read beyond the requirements of the curriculum.
- To work with faculty in integrating information skills, knowledge of information sources, and the use of technology in accessing information needed to strengthen their instruction, research and extension.
- To provide instruction and assistance in the effective use learning resources / services.
Library serves as a resource Centre and aims to develop a comprehensive collection of books and journals useful for students and faculty of the college and provides an efficient dissemination of knowledge.
