D.B.M.S. College of Education was conceived almost four years ago. As with any other of our projects undertaken for the welfare of the people, resource mobilization was a big challenge , but it took shape albeit slowly.
Since our children are future citizens of our country, their teachers should have capacity to mould and shape children’s mind for them to be worthy and talented individuals when they grow up. Thus our noble task is to “Train the Trainers”.
When we take up a task with a spirit of dedication and selfless efforts, help is showered by the divine forces.

My experience with education over the past more than 3 decades indicates that it is one of the most difficult task to get qualified and competent teachers for the schools in Jamshedpur. The Stalwarts of DBMS Trust Mrs. B . Neelakantanand M r. B .Chandrashekhar decided to embark upon setting up a quality institution for teachers training leading to Bachelors degree in Education.
Mr. B. Chadrashekhar , our Jt. Chairperson’suntiring efforts for 4 years resulted in setting up this prestigious organization called D.B.M.S. College of Education. Our objective is to provide high standards of academic excellence backed up by a state of the art infrastructure. Our students, when they graduate, willbe equipped with talent, practical training and a high degree of communication skills.
This will be our gift to the citizens of Jamshedpur and to Jharkhand. Let us hope our ambitious project fulfils the demands of time.
