Rotaract clubs bring together youth between the ages of 18 and 40 to exchange ideas with leaders of the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service. In communities worldwide, Rotary and Rotaract members work side by side to act through service. This global organisation empowers students and young professionals to create positive change in their local communities and around the world. Rotaract provides unique opportunities that assist its members in becoming business and professional leaders of tomorrow. Sponsored by Rotary International, Rotaract Clubs across world are part of a worldwide organisation of 210,000 individuals in 9,100 clubs covering 170 countries. The word Rotaract” stands for “Rotary in Action”, The avenues of service include Club Service, Community Service, International Service and Professional Development.

The Rotaract Club of D.B.M.S. College of Education was formed in 2018 and received a formal charter in the year 2019. Since its inception the club has organised many events and projects targeted towards creating awareness among the community and to reach out to the underprivileged sections of the society. Our members are empowered to decide how to organize and run the club, manage funds, and plan and carry out activities and service projects. The Club undertakes various projects for the overall development of its members and the community. This makes each Rotaractor a person with empathy and provides them with a whole new vision to see the world with.
Our parent club, The Rotary club of Jamsehdpur Femina, offers guidance and support and works with the club as partners in service.
In its short span of existence, the Rotaract Club of D.B.M.S. College of Education has created a huge impact in the Rotary International District. The club has won several accolades and awards and has received appreciation from key members of the community.
